What's so special about your computer (room):
At home?  I mount fourteen different encrypted partitions... They all have a different password.  Originally, it was an experiment in which I was learning to set up encrypted disks, and after a while I forgot they were there.  I only reboot once every two months or so, so once every two months I get annoyed at it... and then forget until I have to reboot again.

How many computers do you have:
6.  Two are 'dead spares'.  One firewall, my wife's machine, mine and a PVR/media server I built from junk parts.

What was your first computer:
Atari 500ST (or was it a 1040?)

Do you remember the first program you ran on it (or the first game you played):
HUrm....  On a PC?  MY Dad has this Bally Basic thing.  I typed in a game of 'hobbit' via a  "How to program in Basic" book he had.  Fun stuff.

ZX-Spectrum.

What's so special about your computer (room):
The system I am developing has 36 power PC CPUs in 17 Xilinx Virtex Pro II FPGA all within one U form factor.
It supports 8x1 GIGE input or 1x10 GIG input of videos. It consumes more power than a normal oven. Last system I work on has 44 Pentium CPUs in it, only consume ~5,000 watts of power.

How many computers do you have:
~10 Pentium SMP, Linux FC3, Windows, at works, 8 mostly pentium  at home.  A few unused x86, 386, 486.

What was your first computer:
Timex Sinclair 1000, Later  8086. (Turbo mode with memory upgrade to 640K)

Some basic game program I copied/modified from a basic programming book.
