What's so special about your computer (room):
Nothing. Its a room. I never go in to. I use ssh to access the boxes in there.

How many computers do you have:
AMD XP2200+ 1gb ram, 2 80gb HDs; a Dell Power Edge 4300 (its my linux torrent server) and a couple of old Pentiums that I use as routers and other odd things.

What was your first computer:
The first computer we owned was an IBM PC out of the box it had 32 K of memory and 2 5.25\" floppy drives. A week later we upgraded the memory to 256 K and eventually added a 10MB fixed disk before we replaced it with the PS/2 Model 60. That would have been about 1982 or 3 (according to my father).

Do you remember the first program you ran on it (or the first game you played):
I remember using basic on it to do simple things like count. There was also a drawing program where you would enter the length, position and direction... I was 5.

Geekiest moment of your life:
Well, this one time at band camp... Actually no, I was never in band...

When did you first realize you were a geek:
I don't know, sometime in highschool when I spent most of lunch talking with a friend about a local BBS we both logged on to...

Have you ever said anything geeky that someone else did not understand:
Usually any conversation I have with my brother or my father others don't understand.

What is the funniest/most bizarre computer/Internet/geeky experience you have ever had:
Don't really have one, they all make me laugh.

If you were a computer program, you would be: why:
An easy answer is the gimp.... however I think I'd really be something more like Bind..

What are you doing when you're not at your computer(s):
Sleep, play with my daughter.

You have a time machine that can only be used once. If you use it you will not come back. What date would you set it to, and what ONE thing would you take with you (not a computer):
October 27th, 2003 (My daughter\'s birth) and a working Video camera... all we ended up with is sound....
