What Are You Working On Right Now: A novel, The Necessity for Invention, which weaves together narrative threads about a priest who suspects the death of a good friend was not really suicide, hackers Don Coyote and Pancho Sanchez who seem to have a relationship to cyberspace analogous to that of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza to books, a spy in deep cover who must build the simulation of a life while waiting for instructions, and new age chanellers who access "discarnate spirits" through automatic writing, circles of light, and the like.
