Wingot Real Name: Adrian
Age: 20 Resides: Perth, Western Australia
Occupation: Ultimate slacking student, studying Software Engineering and Computer Security. |

Favourite websites: http://www.acm.org
Favourite application, game, and program of all time: Core War
What are you playing and working on right now:
Playing Core War, Developing Graphics Engine in OpenGL.
What is your current screensaver, background, or wallpaper: None (Those things use processor power).
What's so special about your computer:
My computer is a notebook, and is the ultimate developers platform. Besides Core War, only developer programs exist on it (not even a web-browser or e-mail client).
How many computers do you have:
Two. 1 Desktop, 1 Notebook.
What was your first computer:
386.
Do you remember the first program you ran on it:
Lion King (http://www.abandonia.com/games/8/Lion_King)
Geekiest moment of your life:
Hard to say, I get a lot of them. Probably first day of Programming Principles (Java), where I both corrected the lecturers code, and taught the majority of other students Java.
When did you first realize you were a geek:
Not sure...
If I was a program I'd be:
A database, because I tend to remember everything, even trivial things, and then bring them up months or even years later, when the situation calls for it.
What is your favourite quote:
"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull." or "The brain is a wonderful device. It makes you think ... doesn't it?"
What do you do when you're not at your computer(s):
I sleep with my computer! Even while out doing delivery runs, I have my laptop with me!
What is the funniest/most bizarre computer/Internet experience you have ever had:
Realising (through wikipedia's encyclopedia) that the paradox "This statement is false" is not actually a paradox.
You have a time machine that can only be used once. If you use it you will not come back. What date would you set it to, and what ONE thing would you take with you (not a computer): 2005, synopsis of SW:ROTS (spoil the storyline for the SW nerds).

(*creative liberties may have been taken for the benefit of the reading audience)
Adrian, who can program in all major languages, other then VB.net, can learn any programming language within 5 hours. What makes Adrian a geek is the fact that if anyone ever needs to know something (not just about computers), they ask him, and he normally knows it--but he is always looking to know more! Adrian once passed notes at school in binary.
