Digital Picture Frames--Looking At The Bigger Picture E-mail
Written by Dale Tudge

If you've always wanted to have something techie and cool on your desk, and I mean more than your 32" LCD monitor, you should really consider investing in, or hinting to your spouse about investing in a digital picture frame. Digital frames (or digital photo frames) are like regular picture frames, only the picture isn't printed, it's like a little LCD panel with some special software inside that displays your digital photography inside an otherwise (seemingly) normal picture frame.

If you're faced with difficult component sourcing issues, such as hard to find semiconductors, long lead time components, or obsolete ICs, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better e-commerce supply solution than NowComponents, a global web-based purchasing outlet.

Their full-service "one-stop" procurement website (if it's for sale they can procure it!) provides specialized support for OEMs and contract manufacturers, and their supplier quality rating system ensures the best parts at the best price - worldwide. THERMALTAKE SVIKING BA400BWS E-mail
Written by Dale Tudge
The Thermaltake SViking series is a good buy, with a few exceptions.

The sharp edges were kept to a bare minimum and for the most part the metal was rolled nice and neatly. The case offers a lot of room for optical and hard drives. The cases airflow is designed well, but mark my words, you won't be able to take the full speed setting for long."

Saitek X52 Flight Control System Review E-mail
Written by Dale Tudge
For those of us who are hardcore into flying games and simulators you're going to want a controller with the most authentic feel you can get to add to the overall effect. Individual joystick units with a small slider for the throttle aren't much like a real airplane is it? Saitek has come out with what they call their "X52 Flight Control System".

Just the name hints it's going to be something big! How does separate joystick and throttle units with a small display screen on the throttle sound? Oh, did I mention there's an uncountable number of programmable buttons and illumination on some of the keys to add to the effect? This is shaping up to be one heck of a controller, read on my friends!

ATI TV WONDER USB 2.0 REVIEW E-mail
Written by Dale Tudge
If you are in the market to turn your computer into a handy TV with A/V functionality and don't have the ability to use a PCI version, you really can't go wrong with this product.

It is easy to install and setup, comes with ATI exceptional multimedia software along with GemStar's GuidePlus which on it own is worth over US$200 for its' subscription. The image quality is just as good as all the TV wonder and All in Wonder videocard's that I have tested in the past.
